Amari Cooper was a special player at Alabama, even by the Crimson Tide’s elite standards.
So it should be no surprise that he’s been an instant success at the NFL level with the Oakland Raiders.
In fact, he’s grabbed another NFL record during Sunday’s season-finale against the Chiefs:

Cooper entered the final week of the season with 70 catches and 1,050 yards receiving already.
With play like this, he’ll drawing continue to draw favorable comparisons Julio Jones, who is the Crimson Tide’s most prominent NFL receiver to date.
Given the play of true freshman Calvin Ridley this season, Alabama may have another star NFL receiver in the making as well.
