Amari Niblack, a former Alabama tight end, has found a new home in the SEC.

Niblack, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 233 pounds, followed Isaiah Bond to Texas after Niblack had 20 catches for 327 yards this past season with 4 touchdowns, including one against the Longhorns. His departure meant that Alabama lost its top 3 receivers from the 2023 season after Jermaine Burton is entering the 2024 NFL Draft, and Bond is at Texas.

In 2022, Niblack played in 10 games with one start, and made one reception for 15 yards and a score.

A 4-star prospect on the 247Sports Composite, Niblack was rated as the No. 5 athlete and the No. 17 player out of Florida in the 2022 class. The talented pass catcher starred for Lakewood High School in Clearwater, Florida. Niblack chose the Tide out of high school over Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, FIU, Boston College, and others.

This move leaves Alabama’s tight end room with CJ Dippre, Robbie Ouzts and Danny Lewis. Tight end Miles Kitselman also transferred to Tennessee.
