With the NCAA’s dead period lifted, June weekends have been busy for college football recruiting. The class of 2022 is next up to sign in December and February. Alabama’s headlining visitor this weekend, however, is 2023 quarterback Arch Manning.

The SEC legacy quarterback has had a busy month. Manning kicked off the month with weekend visits to Clemson and Texas. Following the Austin visit, Manning took in an SEC campus with a visit to LSU during the week.

According to FOX 8, Manning visited LSU along with teammates Bo Bordelon (2022 LSU commit), AJ Johnson (2022 LSU commit), and Will Randle (junior tight end). Manning was able to meet Tigers offensive coordinator Jake Peetz for the first time in-person on his LSU visit.

Rivals national recruiting analyst Adam Gorney recently shared his thoughts on the early leaders in Manning’s recruitment:

If I had to take a shot right now and say where Arch Manning ends up I would pick Clemson first, Alabama second and then Texas third.

Even with two more seasons of high school football ahead of him, Manning is already getting the attention of NFL media:

Manning, rated 5-stars and the No. 1 quarterback of the 2023 class, is scheduled to visit Georgia next weekend.
