When you’re in the sports radio business, hot takes are the name of the game. However, some takes manage to stand out above the rest as perhaps too strong.

On Saturday, comments made by Alabama coach Nick Saban about the Black Lives Matter movement drew criticism.

Bay Area radio host Matt Kolsky saw those comments and fired off a heated take about Saban, basically saying he’d be worthless if it weren’t for football coaching:

Let’s just say Saban had plenty of supporters who fired back at Kolsky over that tweet, pointing out Saban’s history of major charity contributions and action:

Kolsky eventually issued an apology, saying his point was that Saban should be more careful with his words:

Perhaps that’s advice Kolsky should take to heart, too.
