Trey Sanders just likes to keep everyone in suspense.

Just after midnight, Alabama confirmed it had received the nation’s No. 1 RB’s signed National Letter of Intent. Sanders announced Wednesday he would attend Alabama over Georgia and Florida, but it took around eight hours for Alabama to receive his signature.

Of course, the waiting game was keeping Alabama fans in suspense, because crazy things happen on National Signing Day. Thankfully for Alabama, things didn’t get too crazy.

Thanks to Sanders — and a whole bunch of other top-rated prospects, the Crimson Tide have the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class by a wide margin. Georgia, Texas A&M and LSU make up the rest of the top four.
