Alabama might have lost its 1st game of the season at Tennessee a week ago. But it wasn’t Bryce Young’s fault.

The junior quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner returned from a shoulder injury that kept him out of his team’s win over Texas A&M to pass for 455 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Volunteers.

He also led the Crimson Tide offense to 49 points and a potential game-winning field goal attempt that was missed by Will Reichard with 15 seconds to play.

Young is at it again this week, as Alabama is bouncing back from the loss in Knoxville with a dominant performance against Mississippi State.

The Crimson Tide leads 24-0 at the half and Young has been on point.

The 6-0, 194-pounder is 15-of-20 for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns in the opening 30 minutes.

Young has now thrown 18 TD passes and just 3 interceptions this season.

And as is usually the case each Saturday, college football fans continue to be impressed with Young’s play:
