Caleb Downs is making the most of his new position at punt returner for Alabama.

Nick Saban moved Downs to punt returner after Kool-Aid McKinstry made another mistake on a fumble early in the game against Chattanooga. Later in the game, Downs made his first big return.

Alabama forced a punt from Chattanooga, and Downs fielded it around the 15-yard line, spinning to get away from the first defender and then going untouched, 85-yards to score and give Alabama a monster 52-10 lead over the Mocs.

The Tide might have unlocked a new weapon with Downs at punt returner. Just a freshman, Downs has the chance to get familiar with the position if Saban decides to continue letting him return punts.

Alabama is cruising in the game and is looking like it will head into the Iron Bowl with plenty of confidence and momentum.
