It’s no surprise to hear that some choice comments made at SEC Media Days are getting brought up at ACC Media Days.

Wednesday in Hoover, Alabama, Alabama LB Dylan Moses commented that despite UA’s blowout loss to Clemson in the national championship game, he felt the Crimson Tide was the better team. He didn’t stop there, saying Georgia was the toughest team he had played in his collegiate career.

“It was more preparation,” he said. “I wouldn’t say they were a better team.”

Moses added that, “Georgia is definitely the hardest team I have played in college.”

Over at ACC Media Days in Charlotte, Clemson OG John Simpson shot back at Moses’ comments in a predictable fashion, as no teams like to hear players they defeated say that they were in fact the better team (despite the outcome on the field). Simpson reportedly said that Notre Dame was Clemson’s toughest opponent the Tigers faced in their 2018 campaign. Dabo Swinney’s squad beat Notre Dame 30-3 in the College Football Playoff semifinal game held at the Cotton Bowl.
