It took Alabama only 11 plays to find the end zone at the start of the Cotton Bowl on Friday afternoon in Arlington, Texas.
After 10-straight runs, QB Bryce Young hit WR Slade Bolden for a touchdown, giving Alabama a 7-0 advantage.
It was a pure display of dominance and power from the Crimson Tide offensive line and running backs, as they marched down the field against Cincinnati’s defense.
As you might expect, there was plenty of reaction to the drive on Twitter. Here were some of the reactions online:
Bill O'Brien spent his 10 days in isolation dreaming up that drive.

That was unbelievably easy.

Alabama bullies Cincy down the field and then caps it off with a Bryce to Bolden 8-yard TD. About as good an opening drive as possible for the Tide.

Well this game plan is no secret.

One more to put that drive into perspective for you: Alabama's 10 rushes on that opening drive were their most rush attempts on their first possession of a game since 2008 vs Arkansas State (also 10). per @ESPNStatsInfo … repeat, 2008!!

Cincinnati will have to adjust its defensive in a hurry or the Tide will continue to put up major points in this game.
