College football fans weigh in on Alabama's first-half struggles against Tennessee
No. 4 Alabama got off to a surprisingly rough start on Saturday night against “Third Saturday in October” rival Tennessee. At the end of the first quarter, Josh Heupel’s Volunteers led 14-7, a rarity for UA in the Nick Saban era.

As expected, Bama’s rough start was a hot topic on social media:

So, is Tennessee good or is Alabama down this year?

They are really making me nervous this year. The games are getting harder and harder to watch. Not used to this. We have been so spoiled! @AlabamaFTBL pic.twitter.com/cLgF19ANTY

Alabama, get it together. Losing To Tennessee is so tacky.

Things went better for Saban’s squad in the second quarter. Alabama scored 14 straight points to take a 21-14 lead, the score at the half.
Despite the score, it seems safe to assume Saban will be rather “animated” when addressing his team in the locker room at the half.
The game is airing on ESPN.
