New York Giants safety Landon Collins wasn’t shy about sharing his opinion on how to stop the Dallas Cowboys offense.

According to ProFootballTalk, Collins said the Giants “really just have to focus on stopping Zeke (Elliott.) Make sure we (take) the air out of their running game,” Collins continued. “Put the ball into Dak Prescott’s hands and I think we have a better shot at winning.”

Elliott scored the only touchdown for the Cowboys in their Week 1, 16-8 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, while Prescott was pedestrian at best, completing 19-of-29 passes for 170 yards.

Collins may have not exactly meant to disrespect Prescott with his comments, but the former Mississippi State star heard about them, and he offered a simple answer in response:

“Challenge accepted.”

The Giants will also be playing for their first win of the season after losing at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars 20-15.

The Cowboys and Giants will play under the lights in Week 2 for Sunday Night Football. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 PM ET.
