Alabama RB Derrick Henry was confirmed as the nation’s top college football player in the eyes of the Heisman voters earlier this month.

But the voters in the Associated Press Player of the Year selection felt differently.

The AP announced that Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey was the organization’s player of the year on Tuesday, which marked the first time in six years that the winner of the Heisman and the AP Player of the Year were not the same person.

The break down of first-place votes from the 60-voter panel was as follows:

Christian McCaffrey, Stanford — 29
Derrick Henry, Alabama — 16
Deshaun Watson, Clemson — 11
Keenan Reynolds, Navy — 2
Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma — 2
