President Trump may be a big fan of Alabama’s great coach but he recently forgot the man’s name during a recent conference call.

Of course, we all know Nick Saban is the leader of the Alabama football dynasty but President Trump mistakenly referred to the Crimson Tide coach as Lou Saban during a recent call.

For those unfamiliar with Lou Saban, he coached in the NFL, AFL and across college football for many years at a number of different schools.

According to AL.com, here is the portion of the call featuring Trump calling Nick Saban “Lou” Saban:

“Really successful coach,” Trump said of Tuberville, who went 85-40 in 10 years with Auburn. “Beat Alabama, like six in a row, but we won’t even mention that.”

Then he turned to Alabama’s head coach, Nick Saban.

“As he said … because of that, maybe we got ‘em Lou Saban,” Trump said. “… And he’s great, Lou Saban, what a great job he’s done.”

An easy mistake to make but one that’s still funny to see made by the most powerful man in the world.
