Video: One-time Alabama WR makes incredible catch in CFL, runs over opposing coach
One-time Alabama wide receiver Duron Carter recorded one of the craziest celebrations you’ve seen in the CFL Thursday night.
Carter, the son of famed NFL WR Cris Carter, originally signed with Ohio State out of high school in 2009 before finding his way to JUCO in 2010. In 2011, Carter was a member of Alabama’s team, but because of academics, he had to take a reshirt that season. After being suspended for spring practice with the Crimson Tide, Carter eventually wound up at FAU in 2012. Four schools in four years is spectacular in its own right.
But on Thursday night, Carter flashed some of his potential in the CFL. On a pass that was thrown high, Carter went up and made a great catch in the end zone while absorbing a massive hit by the defensive back. He then immediately went to the other team’s sideline taunting his opponents. He even ran over an opposing coach during the celebration and was ejected from the game.
