Alabama recruiting is a machine, and it’s never too early for Nick Saban to receive commitments from future stars.

The Crimson Tide picked up a commitment Friday from massive offensive line prospect Evan Neal, according to Scout.com. The 6-6, 350-pound prospect committed to Alabama over Florida State, South Carolina and others.

Neal is from Okeechobee, Florida, and it’s another big-time commitment for Saban from the Sunshine State. He was just a freshman last season.

“It’s been my dream to go there since I was a little kid,” Neal told Scout. “Another reason is because, wouldn’t you? (laughter) I know they also have one of the finest football programs in America.

“I was almost in tears because I’ve wanted to play there since I was little.”
