Nick Saban spent his weekend courting some highly touted recruits, including a pair of homegrown 5-star linebackers in Ben Davis and Lyndell “Mack” Wilson.

It seems as though he did well with both of them.

Wilson spent much of the weekend posting pictures and videos of the trio hanging out in Tuscaloosa, including the now famous picture of Nick Saban dabbing.

Meanwhile, Davis, who is the top inside linebacker and No. 10 prospect in the 2016 class according to 247Sports composite rankings, may have tipped his hand about where he’ll end up signing.

According to an AL.com report, Davis entered the visit with Georgia and Alabama tied atop his list of schools.

Leaving the visit, he considered Alabama his top choice with the Bulldogs falling to second place.

Davis explained it to AL.com’s Drew Champlin:

“Just because I had a great visit, and that’s what it ultimately came down to, my visit,” the 6-foot-4, 230-pound Davis said. “Auburn is my No. 3 school and they might end up jumping in front of everybody when I come back. I’m ready to get down there and see some more of Auburn.”

He visited Georgia the week prior, and will visit Auburn this coming weekend.

Davis did bring up an interesting tidbit about the Alabama recruiting trip in AL.com’s report, recalling an incident from a golf cart race at Saban’s house on Sunday:

“We had a little wreck there toward the end,” Davis said. “It wasn’t my fault. Me and Mack were racing. I don’t know if he was looking at his phone or what, but we ended up bumping in to each other.”

It sounds like it was minor and everyone is fine, but Saban may have to pull in the reins on those golf carts.
