Daniel Wright, a four-star safety from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Boyd Anderson High School, is on his way to Alabama.

The decision may have upset his older brother, though. Major Wright, who had a great career at Florida, wasn’t able to sell his younger sibling on the Gators. As a matter of fact, he was originally a Florida State commit.

The Crimson Tide have been a pipeline to the NFL at the safety position, which surely factored into his decision. While coach Nick Saban employs one of the most complicated defensive systems in all of college football, Wright is looking forward to being a key cog in the wheel for coordinator Jeremy Pruitt.

Be sure to watch the video above, as Wright spent some time with SDS at the 2017 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando.
