Antonio Alfano was a big get for Alabama a year ago, but things did not work out in Tuscaloosa. After “disappearing” while facing discipline issues, Alfano eventually entered the NCAA transfer portal. On Wednesday, he officially signed with Colorado.

Alfano’s transfer to Colorado doesn’t come as much of a surprise. It was reported in November that Alfano was looking at the Buffaloes as a transfer destination.
If Alfano can get it together in Colorado, it’s a huge get for Mel Tucker. As a class of 2019 prospect, Alfano was rated the No. 1 strong-side defensive end and No. 5 prospect overall nationally on the 247Sports Composite.
