Former Alabama LB Eyabi Anoma, a former 5-star recruit, has moved around a lot during his college career.

After signing with Alabama in the 2018 recruiting class, Anoma entered the transfer portal after 1 year in Tuscaloosa. He has since spent time with Houston and recorded 6 sacks for UT-Martin last season.

Now, he’s on the move back up to the Power 5 ranks, per a report on Thursday. Per a Michigan spokesperson, Anoma has enrolled with the Wolverines and is joining the team as a graduate transfer:

Michigan is looking for pass rushing help off the edge after losing star rusher Aidan Hutchinson to the NFL Draft, where he went No. 2 overall to the Detroit Lions.

Anoma was the No. 4 overall prospect in the class of 2018, per the 247Sports composite rankings. He was the No. 1 defensive end and the No. 1 player from the state of Maryland. We’ll see starting this fall if he can become a big-time player for the Wolverines.
