The Kansas City defense is pressuring Denver QB Joe Flacco seemingly every time the Broncos try to pass. All that pressure was bound to create turnovers and Flacco’s first turnover presented a golden opportunity for Reggie Ragland.

With the ball out on a sack deep in Denver territory, the former Alabama linebacker had a clear path to the end zone on a scoop and score.

It’s the first touchdown in Ragland’s NFL career. The second-round pick in the 2016 draft entered Thursday having played in 32 games (2017-present).

The Chiefs might have to count on Ragland and company to produce more defensive scores with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes out for the rest of the game after getting injured on a QB sneak.

Kansas City leads Denver 20-6 at the half.
