Former Alabama linebacker King Mwikuta appears to be on the move again.

The former 4-star prospect from West Point, Georgia signed with Alabama in the Class of 2019. He announced his intentions to transfer after the 2021 season and chose to play at Arkansas State under former Tennessee head coach and Alabama assistant Butch Jones.

Mwikuta’s stay, however, will not last into the 2022 season, as 247Sports transfer portal reporter Chris Hummer shared that the linebacker is back in the NCAA transfer portal.

Mwikuta played over 30 games for the Crimson Tide, mostly on special teams and as a reserve outside linebacker. He had 6 career tackles and 1 touchdown on special teams against Texas A&M when he fell on a blocked punt in the end zone.

It’s uncertain if Mwikuta’s transfer is football related.
