A former Alabama linebacker is reportedly entering the transfer portal for a second time.

Jackson Bratton, who played for Alabama in 2020 and 2021, is leaving UAB after 2 seasons with the Blazers.

Bratton did not see any playing time for the Tide during his two seasons, but he became a standout at UAB, recording 101 total tackles and 2 sacks during his two seasons with the Blazers. He had 70 tackles this season.

Coming out of high school, Bratton was considered to be a 4-star prospect. He was the No. 155 player nationally, the No. 10 ILB and the No. 5 player in the state of Alabama according to 247Sports Composite.

Bratton held offers from Nebraska, Auburn, Kentucky and others coming out of high school. The Muscle Shoals, Alabama native stayed with his home state, going to Alabama, and remained in state when he transferred to UAB.

After his two successful seasons with the Blazers, Bratton is likely looking to find his way back to a Power 5 roster.
