Former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster has found his next landing spot.

Within the same week in which he was waived by the Houston Roughnecks, Foster was signed in a very short period of time to the Arlington Renegades on Tuesday.

Foster was a truly dynamite prospect out of college, he was the Class 6A Lineman of the Year and Under Armour All-American at Auburn High School back in 2012.

During his college career with the Crimson Tide, Foster started and saw the field for a national title team and he was awarded unanimous All-American recognition, earning the Butkus Award as the best linebacker in America for 2016.

Throughout his professional career, Foster has yielded high expectations due to his former status as a first-round draft pick. But the injury bug has gotten the better of him after he tore the anterior cruciate ligament and lateral collateral ligament in his left knee with the Washington Redskins in the offseason of 2019.

The next time he played after that was when he became a member of the Pittsburgh Maulers in 2023. How he takes advantage of this next opportunity will be something to watch.
