Former Alabama WR reportedly has 5th-year option picked up by Denver Broncos

Former Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy can expect to spend at least the next 2 seasons with the Denver Broncos. Ahead of Year 4, the club has reportedly picked up Jeudy’s fifth-year option for 2024.
Jeudy has been the subject of trade rumors, but NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that Sean Payton and company see the former Crimson Tide standout as a “big part of their future.”

Denver selected Jeudy No. 15 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. As a rookie, Jeudy made 16 appearances, including 14 starts. He caught 52 passes for 856 yards and 3 touchdowns in his first season.
Jeudy spent time on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain in 2021. He was limited to 10 games, with 5 starts. That season, Jeudy had 38 catches for 467 yards.
This past season, Jeudy had the most productive season of his NFL career. He posted career highs of 67 catches for 972 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Jeudy played at Alabama from 2017-to-2019. He was a Consensus All-American in 2018 and 2-time first-team All-SEC selection (2018, ’19).
