Germie Bernard had a strong performance for Alabama against Wisconsin in a 42-10 win in Madison, making 3 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown.

It wasn’t much of a game as the Crimson Tide turned a 7-3 1st quarter lead into a 21-3 halftime advantage and ultimately left the Badgers no chance. Alabama outgained Wisconsin 407-290 and was 8-of-14 on 3rd downs, adding 181 yards on 34 carries (a 5.3 yard-per-carry average).

Badgers fans gathered at Camp Randall Stadium looking for an upset of the Tide ultimately were left disappointed as their team fell to 2-1 on the young season. Meanwhile, the Tide are 3-0 under Kalen DeBoer.

After the game, Bernard had some thoughts about “Jump Around”, which is a staple of Wisconsin home games.

“We were ready to shut that weak ass jump song down,” Bernard said, according to AL.com’s Nick Kelly.

It looks like Bernard got his wish. The Tide will look to remain perfect on the season as they meet No. 1 Georgia in Week 4 in what will be one of the premier games of the 2024 college football slate and a possible SEC Championship — or College Football Playoff — preview.
