Jacksonville Zoo boasts jaguar with Crimson Tide namesake
You’d think a jaguar at the Jacksonville Zoo would bear the name of a famous NFL player of coach from their city.
After all, the city’s NFL franchise is the Jaguars.
That’s not the case, at least not for the zoo’s newest jaguar.
ESPN recruiting analyst Derek Tyson Tweeted a photo of an interestingly named jaguar on Sunday:
Apparently there is an Alabama fan at the Jacksonville Zoo. pic.twitter.com/jh2pwugP4S

Notice the birth date for “Saban” is January 26, 2013, which is less than three weeks after the Crimson Tide crushed Notre Dame 42-14 in the BCS national championship game.
Coincidence? I think not.
