Jalen Hurts' incredible gesture toward young fan is going viral
Former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts was one of those players college football fans loved even if he didn’t play for their team. Hurts is entering his NFL rookie season as a projected backup but his fandom appears to be as strong as ever.
In late July, Twitter user @nikkigphd shared a photo of her son Alexander’s “Jalen Hurts #2” blue backpack. The tweeted photo appears to have made its way to the man himself. Hurts recently shared that he now has a blue “Alexander” backpack so they can be twins.
That’s Lit, Alexander !! I had to get me a backpack with YOUR name on it too haha 😬💪🏽! #TWINS @nikkgphd https://t.co/5wIlTX7m2u pic.twitter.com/bZnu4cPfJM

Alexander’s mom saw Hurts’ tweet and shared a photo of her son holding a “Thank you Jalen” sign.
Now to get them to calm down for virtual school. Lol @JalenHurts THANKS for this 😭 💙💚your little biggest fan Alexander (and big bro Bray @CameronNewton fan) is so happy. My 2 future QBs. Even if he’s just the backup QB, Philadelphia Eagles fans should love rooting for Hurts.
