Jalen Hurts is ready to move on from Monday night’s disappointing road loss to the Dallas Cowboys. And the former Oklahoma and Alabama quarterback has a unique way of describing how that will go.

“You take you a deuce, you don’t sit there and look at it,” Hurts said. “You flush it and move on. We gon’ flush it and move on.”

It was Hurts’ second loss in the NFL in his home state of Texas, and he took responsibility.

“This didn’t go my way, things didn’t go our way,” Hurts said, per the Associated Press. “It’s tough. All I can do is take ownership for how I played, and how it affected the team in the end.”

A couple of Hurts’ mistakes were an early interception, and then had an interception returned for a touchdown less than a minute into the second half of a 41-21 loss. Overall, Hurts was 25-for-39 passing for 326 yards with 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. He was also sacked twice.

“This one’s on me … I take responsibility for how this game went,” Hurts said.
