Jalen Milroe had reason to yell “Roll Tide!” again to Jenny Dell of CBS Sports as he’s become accustomed to doing in recent weeks. The Alabama QB was all smiles.

“We talk about falling back to leveling training, the offseason grind,” Milroe said. “It all comes to games like this, I’m proud of the whole team, at the end of the day, the biggest thing we did was try to get 1% better and never give up.”

Milroe was asked about his personal journey, and being benched early in the season in the game against South Florida.

“Keep the main thing the main thing,” Milroe said. “Before anybody had an opinion on me, I had my brothers already. So the biggest thing was to stay true to myself and have the support system around me to uplift me.”

Milroe was 13-for-23 passing for 192 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also added 29 rushing yards on 14 carries.

Milroe was named the SEC Championship Game MVP, and the purpose before opinion came from one of his mentors, Jalen Hurts.
