A pair of dynamic Alabama offensive stars are in the mix for the Heisman Trophy according to Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt.

Klatt released his latest list of Heisman contenders, and it includes the usual mostly household names. Alabama RB Najee Harris and QB Mac Jones are on a list alongside Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence, BYU QB Zach Wilson, Clemson RB Travis Etienne and Iowa State RB Breece Hall.

In the win over Georgia, Jones passed for 417 yards and four touchdowns and the No. 2 Crimson Tide pulled away from No. 3 Georgia in the second half of a 41-24 victory Saturday night in Tuscaloosa. It ended up being a decisive Alabama win, which was a meeting of the SEC’s last remaining unbeaten teams.

Perhaps as impressive was that Harris gained 152 yards on 31 carries carries with a touchdown that helped ice the game for Alabama. He did it against the top run defense in America, which entered the game allowing 38 rushing yards and 12.3 points per game.

Alabama returns to action this week against Tennessee.
