Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler watched the end of the Iron Bowl from their broadcast booth in The Swamp ahead of Florida State at Florida.
Herbstreit watched the game-winning play live, and immediately playfully punched ESPN partner Chris Fowler, and after Amanda Brooks of ESPN PR shared the video, Herbstreit explained how it unfolded.
“College football man. We’re fans just like everyone else,” Herbstreit shared on social media.
Jalen Milroe and Isaiah Bond rescued Alabama’s Playoff hopes, as they connected for a last-minute touchdown on 4th-and-goal from the 31 to beat Auburn 27-24 on Saturday.
Bond caught Milroe’s pass in the left corner of the end zone with 32 seconds left to give the Crimson Tide (11-1, 8-0 SEC) a 10th straight win in the latest white-knuckle Iron Bowl finish at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
We have cameras in nearly every nook & cranny of the stadium, including our own booth ?
