Kyler Murray spotted at Oklahoma practice after battling illness
Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray wasn’t at media interviews on Wednesday morning ahead of the Orange Bowl, but now we know why.
Per reporters on the scene for the Sooners’ bowl practice on Wednesday afternoon, Murray was in action, but was a bit limited due to an illness he was battling.
Still, he took the field and did as much as he could, according to SEC Network’s Laura Rutledge:
Kyler Murray here at Oklahoma practice despite missing media this morning due to illness. I’m told he doesn’t feel great but wants to do as much as possible.

For those hoping that Murray might be limited in Saturday’s game, it appears that won’t be the case, as he’ll have all the care he needs to get better as quickly as possible.
These are important preparation days, though, so it’ll be interesting to see what he’s able to do Thursday and Friday ahead of the game.
