The Oklahoma Sooners have had a couple of great quarterbacks the past two years, with both Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray winning the Heisman Trophy.

This year, former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts is in Norman, and expectations are high for the one-time SEC Offensive Player of the Year.

On Monday, former Alabama OC (and current Florida Atlantic coach) Lane Kiffin challenged Hurts to keep the Heisman streak going, citing USC’s three Heisman winners in four years while he was an assistant there:

In 2002, QB Carson Palmer won the award, followed by QB Matt Leinart in 2004 and RB Reggie Bush in 2005 (an award that has since been vacated).

Can Hurts keep the Sooners’ streak going? Current Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa will try his best to make sure the streak ends.
