Alabama did get the win over LSU, but the victory came at a steep price.

The Crimson Tide looked strong in the 24-10 win over the Tigers and will likely remain at No. 2 in the College Football Playoff Top 25.

Alabama now has a strong shot at winning the SEC West and heading to Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. The Tide have just two SEC games remaining, but they will be down two of their defensive play makers for the rest of the season.

LBs Shaun Dion Hamilton and Mack Wilson both sustained season-ending injuries during the win over the Tigers. It is rough news for for the Tide and both players, but it is especially sad news for Hamilton who was having a strong senior season.

Nevertheless, the team will press on and look to move past the injuries. Hamilton also provided a bit of encouragement with a thumbs up photo following his surgery.
