Philadelphia took down the Jaguars in less than ideal conditions on Saturday.

One person who was not a fan of the weather was Eagles WR Devonta Smith. The former Alabama player was captured on mic complaining about being cold in the rainy conditions, telling a teammate he needed to wrap his head so he wouldn’t get sick.

Immediately following the game, Smith can be heard saying he was taking himself inside because it was cold, quickly running off the field.

The video below contains some explicit language:

After Smith recorded over 1,800 yards with 23 touchdowns as a senior in 2020 at Alabama, he was drafted by Philadelphia in the 1st round of the 2021 NFL Draft with the 10th overall pick. Smith was only the 4th wide receiver to receive the Heisman Trophy, also winning 2 national championships while at Alabama.

Smith has lived up to his Draft rankings, catching 64 passes for 916 yards and 5 touchdowns as a rookie a year ago. In the Eagles’ Week 3 matchup with the Commanders, Smith had eight catches for a career-high 169 yards and a touchdown in the 24-8 win.
