It hasn’t taken very long for Jaylen Waddle to receive praise from one of his new teammates in Miami.

While Tua Tagovailoa has offered up plenty of praise for Waddle following their reunion in South Beach, this time it was veteran receiver DeVante Parker throwing some praise in Waddle‘s direction.

After six seasons in the NFL, the veteran receiver knows a player when he sees one and that’s exactly what Parker sees in Waddle.

“Brings another weapon to the team. Another guy who can help us,” DeVante Parker said about Jaylen Waddle according to Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. “He’s a quick learner. He listens to what we have to say. You coach him up and he listens to you.”

Parker developed a nice rapport with Tua Tagovailoa last season, as the receiver was targeted 103 times, resulting in 63 catches for 793 yards and four touchdowns last fall.

Now with Waddle being added to the Miami roster this season, those numbers are likely only going to improve for Parker with another playmaker on the field to draw NFL defenses off him.
