Nick Saban called out Texas A&M for “buying” its elite 2022 recruiting class during a public appearance on Wednesday night.

Jimbo Fisher called a press conference on Thursday morning and went scorched-earth on his former boss, saying their friendship is over.

He also accused Saban of having some shady past behaviors. However, current Alabama players took to social media on Thursday to defend their coach:

This beef is just getting started. The SEC office and commissioner Greg Sankey is going to have to weigh in at some point.

Meanwhile, the rest of us will simply circle Oct. 8 on our calendars, when Texas A&M heads to Alabama for what is sure to be a very heated game.
