It turns out Deion Sanders didn’t know what he was talking about.

If you missed it, Sanders created headlines after being upset when he was addressed by his first name during his recent appearance at SWAC Media Days.

“If you call Nick (Saban), Nick, you’ll get cussed out on the spot, so don’t do that to me,” Sanders said during the SWAC event. The reporter called him “Deion” again and Sanders got up and left the interview.

Sanders even posted the video of the incident himself.

During Saban’s time at SEC Media Days on Wednesday, he was asked about his preference when it comes to be addressed by the media.

“I respond to just about anything – and I’ve been called just about everything,” Saban says in the clip from Media Days below.

“It’s not something that’s really that significant to me,” he added.

Sorry, Prime, you missed on this one.
