Alabama head coach Nick Saban knows the margin for error for the rest of the season is very low.

The Crimson Tide lost to Tennessee in an instant classic last week, falling 52-49 at Neyland Stadium. Alabama can bounce back this week against a faltering, yet tough Mississippi State team this Saturday.

On Wednesday, Saban addressed the team’s mindset heading into Week 8.

Alabama has been slightly… off this season. The Crimson Tide are uncharacteristically sloppy, averaging just under 80 penalty yards per game. That’s the No. 128 mark in the country out of 131 teams.

For Alabama to make it back to the CFP, that trend has to stop.

Alabama’s matchup against Mississippi State is set for 7 p.m. EST at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
