Nick Saban’s weekly radio show was back in its usual Thursday timeslot this week after being moved to Wednesday of last week due to Thanksgiving.

On this week’s show, Saban shared that he received an IV and a plasma treatment after testing positive for COVID-19.

“Whatever was in this plasma deal, it knocked [all the symptoms] out in one day,” Saban said. “From Thursday on, I’ve felt great and 100 percent. I would certainly recommend that treatment for anybody that could get it.”

It was the second time this season that Saban has tested positive for COVID-19. Ahead of the Georgia game, Saban was asymptomatic and produced subsequent negative tests to be able to coach the game. When Alabama announced the Iron Bowl-week positive result, the school indicated that the possibility of a false positive had been ruled out as he was showing symptoms.
