Nick Saban discusses when he could return to work at Alabama, what process will be
Alabama coach Nick Saban had to miss the Iron Bowl on Saturday after testing positive for COVID-19.
Steve Sarkisian filled in and led the Crimson Tide to a big 42-13 win over Auburn. Now, the big question is whether Saban will be able to coach against LSU this week or not.
On Wednesday, Saban discussed his potential return, saying he expects to be back with the team soon:
Saban just said he expects to be back with the Alabama football team “in the very near future."

He said it’s going to be a decision the medical personnel make:
Saban on his return to action: "I’m going to be back shortly, it’s a medical decision. When I can come back I’ll be totally 100% with the team, so, and that’s something that’s going to happen in the very near future."

With how much LSU has struggled this year, the Tide probably don’t need Saban on the sidelines, but they’ll only be better off with him around.
Sarkisian did a great job filling in, but allowing him to focus solely on the offense has produced incredible results this season.
