WATCH: Nick Saban receives rock star treatment as he helicopters in to recruit local prospect

Whenever Nick Saban visits a high school to recruit a prospect, he likely draws a crowd regardless of the situation.

When Alabama’s coach flies in on a helicopter and lands on a high school football field, that’s going to cause borderline hysteria. That’s what happened on Friday when Saban choppered in and landed on the field at Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham.

We aren’t sure which prospect Saban was there to visit here, but whoever it was, the high schooler must have known Saban was on campus moments after he touched down on campus, as there was a crowd on hand to watch the Alabama coach descend on their school.
