The Alabama Crimson Tide had starting LG Deonte Brown go down with a foot injury against Mississippi State, and his status for this weekend is in question.

Brown is apparently dealing with turf toe, which is an injury that can stick around if not treated properly.

On Wednesday night, coach Nick Saban said Brown is getting a few days off to rest the injury and his status is considered “day-to-day” at the moment:

QB Tua Tagovailoa also left the game with an injury, but he’s expected to play against The Citadel on Saturday. Without Brown (if he’s not able to go), the Crimson Tide offensive line will be at less than full strength.

We’ll see how Brown’s injury affects Alabama’s plans moving forward.
