Nick Saban reacts to Alabama being left out of Playoff: 'We're obviously disappointed'
Despite the fact that some thought Alabama would find a way to edge its way into the College Football Playoff by political favor of the committee, that did not happen when the rankings came out on Sunday on the heels of championship Saturday.
Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban recently commented on his team being left out.
“We’re obviously disappointed,” Saban told ESPN reporter Marty Smith. “We wanted to see our team have an opportunity to play and get in the playoffs. But we’re gonna get an opportunity to play someone somewhere in a good game, and that’s gonna be an opportunity for our players to create value for themselves and show what kind of team we really have.”
Alabama lost 2 games this year between Tennessee and LSU, which were both teams that were expected at one time to have a chance of cracking into the postseason.
The Crimson Tide will await their bowl game destination up next now that the season has fully included.
