Nick Saban responds to offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian’s departure

Alabama head coach Nick Saban is once again looking for an offensive coordinator thanks to Steve Sarkisian’s sudden departure from the program. After serving in the role for only one game, Sarkisian has already been named the new Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator.

Following the news, Saban released the following statement in response to the news:

“We appreciate all Coach Sarkisian did for our program during his time here. He is an outstanding coach, and we wish him the best in his new role as Atlanta’s offensive coordinator. As always, when we have an opening on our staff, we will use it as an opportunity to go out and hire the best coach available.”

Now the question centers around who the Tide will hire as the team’s new offensive coordinator. At this point, the options seem wide open.
