Nick Saban reveals injury suffered by QB Tua Tagovailoa against Arkansas
The Alabama Crimson Tide have been rolling this season, thanks in large part to the incredible play of QB Tua Tagovailoa.
However, as the Tide prepare for Mizzou this week, the star quarterback is dealing with a bit of a minor knee issue.
After Wednesday’s practice, coach Nick Saban spoke with the media and discussed a sprained knee that Tagovailoa is battling through, which he doesn’t consider to be a big deal:
Saban post-practice: “Tua has taken every rep in practice. He does have a sprained knee but he has been able to do the work. So it’s not an issue.”

Obviously, Saban expects Tagovailoa to play, but any sort of injury to the talented sophomore has to be looked at with some level of concern.
We’ll have to see how he looks against Mizzou on Saturday night, but if the Tide go up big once again, he may be out of the game even earlier than normal.
