Nick Saban says 'nothing' from this season has prepared Alabama for The Citadel's offense
The ESPN FPI gives Alabama a 99.9 percent chance of beating The Citadel this Saturday. But it’s safe to say Nick Saban could care less about what the odds are.
All week, Saban has been treating The Citadel like an SEC opponent. Then Thursday night, while saying his team had a good week of practice, he implied the Crimson Tide will see things this weekend they haven’t all season long.
Nick Saban on facing the triple option: “There’s nothing that we’ve done all year long that can prepare our players for this.”
Said it’s been a good week.

With its triple-option, The Citadel is ranked seventh in the FCS with 291.9 rushing yards per game. Alabama possesses the seventh-best rushing defense in the FBS, but as Saban said, the Crimson Tide hasn’t seen a triple-option this year like the one The Citadel will be running Saturday.
Alabama and The Citadel will kick off at 12 pm ET.
