Alabama head coach Nick Saban provided an injury update on a couple of the Crimson Tide’s players Thursday evening.

Linebackers Christian Miller and Terrell Lewis each suffered what appeared to be season-ending injuries in Alabama’s Week 1 win against Florida State.

Miller, who was a standout starter, suffered a bicep tear while Lewis tore a ligament in his elbow, according to an earlier report from AL.com.

At the time, those injuries appeared to be devastating. As the AL.com report put it, Alabama had lost two of its top three outside linebackers and “arguably its two best pass rushers.”

However, with its incredible depth, the Crimson Tide has been able to not only sustain, but jump out to an undefeated record and a No. 2 ranking in the country.
