Alabama coach Nick Saban had a couple of injury updates when he met with the media on Wednesday.

Saban shared the latest on kicker Will Reichard and center Chris Owens during his post-practice press conference.

“He kicked today,” Saban said of Reichard. “We’ll evaluate him day-to-day and see where he goes from there.”

Reichard has been dealing with a hip flexor. He was injured during the Southern Miss game and missed the Ole Miss game, with Joespeh Bulovas filling in against the Rebels.

As for Owens, Saban said the junior, “hasn’t been able to practice all week.” He called Owens “very questionable.” Owens is dealing with a knee injury.

Owens has been the starting center for four out of Alabama’s five games. During the bye week, Landon Dickerson stepped in for Owens at center. Dickerson was also the starting center against New Mexico State.
