Injuries can put a damper on any win, even a 52-21 blowout win over Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Crimson Tide fans can rest easy, however, as the first-half injury to senior DL Isaiah Buggs does not appear to be serious.

In his post-game press conference, coach Nick Saban told reporters that Buggs has a hyperextended knee and “will be OK,” per AL.com. Buggs recorded 36 total tackles, including 12.5 for loss and nine sacks in the first 11 games of the season.

Alabama will want Buggs on the defensive line against a Georgia attack that appears to be firing on all cylinders heading into the SEC Championship Game. The No. 5 Bulldogs beat in-state rival Georgia Tech 45-21 Saturday to improve to 11-1.
